Paris, France, 1922. An American veteran with delusions of granduer finds himself possessed by Damnation, a demon of war— just moments before his husband was set to sacrifice himself to stall the demon's arrival. Now that Damnation has his lover in his grasp, he has a choice: worship his god and bring about another rein of Fear or devise a plan against the panthenon of harbingers to save his priestess from a repeated cycle of death.
